SoLNrG's People's Power utility intertie
systems are pre-packaged kits that have been
pre-engineered to provide the best performance
at the best price. These kits include PV
modules, an intertie inverter, mounting racks,
and an installation kit that contains all of the
components and hardware needed to complete the
system installation.
The only items not included are wire,
conduit, and hardware that any electrician would
normally have in their truck, or are easily
available locally. These items are too
site-specific to include in any pre-packaged
kit.
Depending on the installation site
conditions, one of these kits can normally be
installed by a contractor's 2 or 3 person crew
in a single day. Or a homeowner can install one
during a weekend with a little help from his or
her friends.
PP1100SP
The PP1100SP consists of 8 Shell SP150-PC
modules, an SMA Sunny Boy SB1100U inverter with
display, UniRac SolarMount module mounts, and an
Intertie Installation Kit.
This system can
produce about a kilowatt of AC power in the peak
of the day and can deliver about 5 kWh of
electricity per day on average in a sunny
location.
